How do I submit a Listing?

Presently the system is set up to allow you to submit a listing simply by pressing the suggest a link button on the top of the site.

When you press the button the system will prompt you for the listing type. You may choose a paid listing or a free listing. If you select a paid listing the system will direct you to PayPal to complete your transaction once you have filled on all of your listing information. Paid listings are better than free listings because you get higher priority in the system.

Category- This is the most important part of suggesting a link, you should select the proper category for your listing.

No links are allowed at the root level at this time.

To select the category for your listing, simply browse to the page where you want you listing to be placed, such as Lawyers by State, California. Then simply hit the suggest link button on the top and your listing will be suggested for the category that you chose.

If you select the wrong category it may delay your listing being processed!

If you want to change your listing use the contact button on the bottom to let us know.

Title- Place the title of your listing.

URL- If you have a URL or Website, place it here.

Description- Here you have up to 300 characters to describe your listing, your firm, your blog, or yourself. It is important to put as much detain in the description as possible so that your listing is more relevant in the search results!

Reciprocal URL- Here is where you place a URL or link back to lawnosh.net. Remember, those of you who link back to lawnosh.net will get priority over links in the directory that do not link back to the directory.

Email- You must give us a valid email address in order for your listing to be placed in our directory. The system will automatically give you information about your listing in the system via the email address that you use. Remember we will never use your email address for anything other than directory information. Pursuant to our privacy policy, we will never sell your email information to anyone!

Captcha Code- You must type in the code exactly as you see it for your listing to be submitted to us. This security measure is necessary to prevent spammers and robots from jamming our human edited directory with spam links.

Suggest Link Button- Press this button after doing all of the above to submit your link for inclusion in our system. If you chose a paid listing you will be directed to PayPal to pay for your featured listing.

You will be notified via the email address you provided once your link has been approved.

How do I suggest a new Category for the Directory?

You can see by the diagram the category structure of the LawNosh Legal Directory. The procedure for suggesting a new category is similar to suggesting a new link in that You should browse to the category that you want to suggest a new category for, and then hit the suggest category button on the top of the page. All New Category suggestions will be looked at very carefully before being added to the directory. We want LawNosh to be as easy as possible for users to use. However, we may not have thought of all of the categories possible for the directory. Your input will be greatly appreciated.

How do I modify a Listing?

At the present time modifications will need to be done by pressing the contact button at the bottom of the page. You will need to give us your listing name, URL, and email address, and give us the modifications that you would like done to your system. We will eventually allow users to open their own accounts, login, and modify their own listings. However, for now, this is the way it needs to be done.

Why does it take so long for my listing to appear?

We are a human edited directory. Each listing is checked before it is added to the directory. We want quality and not quantity!

Can I have multiple listings in the directory?

Yes.

Why am I no longer listed in the directory?

Our system automatically checks links periodically. If the system cannot connect to your website when the check is done, your listing will be suspended from the system. You will be notified by email, and have a chance to modify your listing with your new URL.
